Indigo Hands

Nudie Jeans Holiday collection was inspired by the artisans who still hand dye yarns with indigo the way it has been done for 1000 years. These tradesman wear their "indigo hands" as a mark of pride.

The Nudie indigo hands collection includes several innovative dry finishes. Including Thin Finn Liquid Indigo, a flat coated wet feel denim, Slim Jim 46 Dips, a super crispy denim created by dipping the yarn in indigo 46 times and Sharp Bengt Anniversary Wash, whose denim is treated with a laser to produce a pixelated texture.

Bespoken FW11

British brand Bespoken draws on 123 years of heritage in creating it's AW11 collection. 

Founded by descendants of the world famous Turnbull & Asser tailors, Bespoken is a modern take on old world craftsmanship.

This fall's collection was inspired by 1940's naval uniforms and features heavy tweeds, chunky knits and boiled wool.

Velour AW11

Velour AW11 has arrived.
Inheritance is the theme this season with a nod back to nostalgia and Swedish heritage.

Velour has inherited a love for effortless style that transcends time. This is apparent in their textured button down shirts, winter weight chino's, luxurious cable knits and tweed blazers that would be as at home in 1940's as today. This fall the colours are inspired by nature, with burnt orange, olive and camel featuring prominently.

Pendleton Portland Collection

Pendleton's Portland Collection has arrived.

For those of you not familiar, Pendleton Woolen Mills is a true American heritage brand,founded in 1909 in Pendleton Oregon and still family owned today.

This exclusive capsule collection was created by the Portland based design team of Nathaniel Crissman, Rachel Turk and John Blasioli.

In a recent ELLE magazine, The Portland Collection designers described a visit to the Pendleton Woolen Mills archives:

   

  Escorted through rigid security that included a fingerprint-activated lock and a steel cage door, the trio were ushered into a room filled with hundred-year-old garments that had been frozen and thawed to preserve against moths. “It was a treasure trove of old fabrics, designs and advertisements,” Turk, 30, recalls.  “We just had our minds blown and got all inspired,” says Crissman, also 30, “and went straight to the sketchbook.”

Founded by husband and wife duo Brian Kim & Olga Nazarova, Thvm is a creative collective based in Los Angeles California. By collaborating with artists, musicians and photographers they have created a denim collection and magazine (Thvm Rag) for like minded individuals.

Introducing Beau Coops

Hailing from Australia, Beau Coops is the brainchild of the very talented Carrie Cooper.

 Coops as her friends took to calling her, was the former shoe designer for Alexander Mcqueen, Bernard Willhelm and Ksubi.

With her namesake collection, she has taken a deconstructed aproach, utilizing cutouts and mixed textures with an ultra clean asthetic.

Levis X Opening Ceremony

Leo is proud to present the latest collaboration between Opening Ceremony and Levis.
